Because she understands the fear of being seen first hand when she published her first book 18 years ago. As it was self-published she did not think anyone would buy it. However, she then started giving presentations to social networking groups like Rotary and Lions clubs to sell 100 copies every month and succeeded! 

She started to perfect the art of speaking and was able to launch her book successful all over the world!

Getrude went on to attending seminars and workshops for speakers in the USA and New Zealand and with the assistance of mentoring and coaching she has overcome the fear of failure and speaking in front of large crowds and built a wildly successful global business.

MEET GETRUDE MATSHE
With 20+ years as a speaker and serial social entrepreneur plus two years experience running successful events in her company, Getrude has insurmountable speaking, coaching, mentoring and publishing experience.

She is an expert in teaching others how to tell their stories online on video, podcasts, to write their books and get them on the TED platform. Getrude has had her fair share of personal and business challenges and has drawn from this to mentor and coach well over 400 men and women do date to speak and to write their books.

Getrude believes in prosperity with a purpose and her passion to make a difference to the poorest of the poor though this social impact movement is evident in her incredible involvement in a myriad of global endeavours.

She has been involved in running a multitude of companies from various industries including health professionals, property investors, publishing companies, casting agencies for film and advertising, key note speakers, fashion designers, African Story Tellers, actresses, singers & dancers. 

Getrude is also the author and CEO of the Africa Alive education foundation which sponsors children whose parents have died of HIV and Aids related diseases. 

Her latest business venture is the HerStory Women’s Global empowerment Circle and conferences which is a social impact movement. This has been designed to not only empower ourselves but the poorest of the poor women globally, giving a voice to all,
